Audi
A live act, not a DJ set
Isi Audi lives between Mexico City and Berlin. For twelve years his improvised sets, original music rebuilt every night, have moved through the rooms that shape this culture: Sisyphos in Berlin, Thuishaven in Amsterdam during ADE, Womb and Red Bar in Tokyo, Beton Brut in Seoul, Cova Santa in Ibiza, Gazgolder in Moscow, Factory 93 in LA, Bar Américas in Guadalajara, Be Tulum and Nomade during January high season, Midburn. His first album, Release, lived on those floors unreleased for five years. He let it go this February, Mixmag told the story, and the tour behind it is twenty-three dates deep. He also runs Shanghai Café, the rave born in CDMX now running across Mexico and New York.

About
Music for open-minded, open-hearted dance floors: original productions, real-time improvisation and unexpected samples. Cosmic dreamy sounds, 80s Italo basslines, 2000s leads and tribal percussion recalling the spirit of early uplifting electronic music. No two sets are the same; everything is rebuilt in the moment.
Twelve years on the circuit have carried that format from Sisyphos marathons and Thuishaven's ADE hangars to The Sanctuary (Rome), Maera Festival (Mykonos), Hovarda (London), Red Bar (Tokyo), Beton Brut (Seoul), Gazgolder (Moscow) and high-season Tulum. Mexico City, Ibiza, Tokyo and Miami rank among his most-played regions on Resident Advisor.
His debut LP Release landed in February 2026 with a Mixmag feature: 13 tracks of leftfield house, electro, deep house and deconstructed trance, finished in lockdown introspection and road-tested unreleased for five years. "Release is the physical act of letting go." He is also founder and curator of Shanghai Café, the kitsch Chinese-restaurant rave born in Mexico City, now running across Mexico and New York.
Discography
Shanghai Café

A monthly rave born in Mexico City, now running across Mexico, from CDMX to Monterrey and Atlixco, and in New York. Kitsch Chinese-restaurant aesthetics meet chronological musical curation, built for seasoned ravers and first-timers to share one room.
Each edition lives in a different venue, transformed through art, sound and lighting. The project is evolving into a record label and soundsystem, with releases on Beatport and a resident cast touring internationally.
